The RISE (Resilience, Initiative, Self-Sufficiency, and Employment) Boot Camp is open to young adults with disabilities who have at least an AA degree (BA preferred) and/or who are in their final year of college or who are no more than three years past graduation from college. Participants work with CIL’s employment team to develop their personal brands and build a professional network.

The bootcamp includes an opportunity to network with CIL partner companies staff (including employees with disabilities) and get a view into working at the company. The CIL’s main partners include Facebook, Google, Pearson, Toolwire, and Grifols, among others -- and the list continues to grow. Perhaps the single greatest barrier to employment for working-age adults with disabilities is understanding the complex maze of benefits and how those benefits can be impacted if the recipient becomes employed. The CIL’s knowledgeable Work Incentives/Benefits Counselors can help potential employees maintain their benefits and understand how they will be affected by part-time or full-time work.
