About The Program

The CIL's Accelerate! Program links students with disabilities with local companies to help you find competitive, open positions or internships that fit your interests and career goals.  Companies that have partnered with the Accelerate program have opportunities available for students with disabilities, namely internships and entry-level positions.

Pinterest

Pinterest is a web and mobile application company that operates a software system designed to discover information on the internet, mainly using images and on a smaller scale, GIFs and videos.

Mixpanel

Mixpanel is a business analytics service company. It tracks user interactions with web and mobile applications and provides tools for targeted communication with them. Its tool-set contains in-app A/B tests and user survey forms. Data collected is used to build custom reports and measure user engagement and retention.

Stanford

Stanford University is a private research university in Stanford, California.  Over 300 hiring managers for spanning multiple departments.

Quantcast is an American technology company, founded in 2006, that specializes in AI-driven real-time advertising, audience insights & measurement. The company claims that it has accurate audience measurement to over 100 million web destinations.

AmeriCorps Logo

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.

BAYAC Logo

BAYAC AmeriCorps collaborates with over 20 agencies in over 70 schools and community-based organizations to serve youth and families in the San Francisco Bay Area. As part of AmeriCorps, BAYAC Members commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) term of service in the Bay Area's most high-need communities, working to provide youth with opportunities for meaningful engagement, skill building, and emotional and social development. This is a paid work experience program for folks who are looking to advance their career working with youth in the field of education or non-profit sector.

Public Allies Logo

Public Allies is a national AmeriCorps program that places annual cohorts of 30-40 passionate leaders committed to social justice in paid, full time positions in Bay Area nonprofits and government offices for 10 months between September and June. Our Allies work at their offices for 32 hours each week between Monday and Thursday, and come together as a cohort for weekly trainings on social justice and leadership development each Friday.

Climate Corp Logo

Climate Corps is an award winning, fellowship program that provides incredible professional development opportunities for emerging climate protection leaders through implementation of climate change resiliency projects with local governments, non-profits and for-profit businesses. Fellows participate in a comprehensive training program that gives an overview of climate change issues, strategies for tackling climate change and approaches to building community resiliency in California.

UC Theater Logo

The UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall is a multi-tiered, all-ages 1,400 capacity live music venue with a state-of-the-art Meyer Leopard sound system and a full service bar and kitchen. The UC Theatre presents a diverse range of local, national and international artists and bands including indie, alternative, jazz, R&B, electronica, hip-hop, EDM, world, pop, comedy and much more.
