Note: Normal class time for current students
We are a community-based class held at The Center for Independent Living that provides continuous learning opportunities through hands-on, creative collaboration. Students explore various digital media projects/formats such as music video production, digital arts advocacy, performance, and documentary filmmaking. The class aims to promote student independence and provides them with alternate ways for diverse learners to communicate and express themselves. During Inclusive Media Arts, students build pre-vocational skills that can be used in professional opportunities in the future, while staying up to speed with technology and the digital world around them. Class participants are involved in all steps of the video making process, from planning and creating stories, to filming and performing, and the final steps of editing and project promotion.
